Primary RTP® Course
4 Day Internship
Upper & Lower Extremities, Spine, Thorax, Head & Neck
Course Description
- - Theory (Explanation of Trigenics Theory and its
application): 5 hours.
Theoretical science of Trigenics® followed
by methodology of how to specifically apply the treatment
procedures. Participants will learn applications of functional
neurology through overload of sensorimotor movement regulation using
principles of amplitude summation, convergence projection,
corticoneural reorganization and neuroplasticity.
- Practical (Hands-on): 23 hours
Neurokinetic testing procedures are taught using the
principles of orthopedic muscle testing for inhibition or
over-facilitation. Related functional anatomy, neurological
innervation, aberrant movement patterns and clinical overviews are
discussed.
Attendees will learn how to combine the 3 components
of Trigenics®,
resisted exercise
movement, distortional stimulation of mechanoreceptors and
biofeedback breathing. Specific protocols for
treatment of individual muscles are demonstrated, practiced and
integrated.
Also taught are
Trigenics
procedures using static and vibrational instrumentation are also
demonstrated along with how and when to use Trigenics myoneural
taping.

whereby soft tissue treatment is applied while the patient performs
resisted exercises, The summative neurological effects instantly
relieve pain with significant measurable increase in strength and
movement.”

aka. Instructor level 1) program and Fellow of the Trigenics
Institute of Functional Neurology (FTIFN, aka. Instructor level 2)
programs are offered to Trigenists who have demonstrated outstanding
interest, understanding and competency in Trigenics.
About the Program
The CPTI program consists of an additional 100 hours
(50 hours in-class + 50 hours distance learning), which builds upon
the previous 100 hour R.T.P program.
Objectives of the Program
-
Increase understanding and expertise level in
Trigenics Myoneural procedures to treat neuromusculoskeletal
injuries and sensorimotor dysfunction.
-
Develop ability to tutor and demonstrate
Trigenics to others
Requirements
-
50 hour internship
-
Candidate must be present and assist in
instructing all modules of 2 full R.T.P. programs. (Including
tutoring and examination)
-
Responsible for instructing at least 10 protocols
of the procedures,
-
50 hour extracurricular assignments
- Submit an article on Trigenics,
which
is accepted for publication
by a public or professional magazine/newspaper.
- Complete 2 case studies
using guidelines set by TIMM.
-
Successful passing of a closed-book written
theory examination.
-
Successful completion of an advanced course
and passing of advanced level practical procedures
examinations.
-
CPTI
candidates must also organize a
Trigenics demonstration
for at least 6 peers whereby they provide information and visual
demonstration. Participants must sign in with name and
contact information and the CPTI candidate is required to send
the Institute the sign in sheet and a video of the presentation.

Level 4
|
Fellow of the Trigenics Institute of FUNCTIONAL
NEUROLOGY
(FTIFN)
Only doctors or physiotherapists are eligible to
attain FTIFN status to become a Trigenics teacher.
Teachers may teach and/or instruct at a Trigenics
course
or hold their own courses in Trigenics under license of the
Trigenics Institute.
To become a teacher, R.T.P. graduates must have first completed the
level II,
200
hour, C.P.T.I program and then complete the level III, 100 hour,
FTIFN program.
This designation requires completion of the C.P.T.I program and
